Developing more efficient ways of turning petroleum into automotive or aviation fuel

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and non-routine chemical analyses on petroleum products such as crude oil, lubricants, fuels, and other related materials.
Utilize a range of laboratory instruments and techniques, including gas chromatography (GC), high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), mass spectrometry (MS), and spectroscopy.
Prepare samples, reagents, and standards according to established protocols and procedures.
Record and interpret test results accurately, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct stability testing and participate in method development and validation processes.
Document all laboratory activities, including test results, observations, and deviations, in a clear and concise manner.
