Job Description
If you believe in the convincing power of words, this might be the right opportunity for you. We are looking for a writing wizard to join our team. You will be responsible for creating solution-based content for blogs, articles, websites, social media, podcasts and other digital platforms to lift the websites performance on search engines, answer customer queries, showcasing our clients expertise in their niche.The role requires planning, extensive research, knowledge of SEO (for content), and understanding of what makes content engaging and relevant. You must have excellent written, creative, and communication skills, with the ability to write, create, plan and prioritise. We are an insights-driven digital marketing agency, so having some knowledge of utilising data to adjust content as needed would be a plus.
- Writing effective content that matches the brand s voice for the purpose of website, social media, press releases, podcasts and more.
- Conduct extensive research to supplement the content with relevant data points, wherever required.
- Work closely with the SEO team to ensure the content is optimised for the search engines.
- Assist Marketing team in developing content for advertising campaigns across Facebook, Google, Instagram, LinkedIn, Spotify and others.
- Be able to take up technical and complex topics and simplify them for the end-reader.
- Be able to proofread and edit existing content to improve readability.
- Bachelors degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or related field.
- Proven content writing or copywriting experience.
- Working knowledge of content management systems.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- A portfolio of published articles.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Attention to detail to ensure submitted content is free of any errors, factual and grammatical.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take complete ownership of projects with minimal supervision.
- The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Effective communication skills.
- Excellent project management skills
- Adaptable to project changes
UG: Bachelor s degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or related field.
PG: Master s degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or related field.
