Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines and workflows.

- Leverage Azure Cloud storage solutions such as blob storage, SQL databases, and REST APIs to develop scalable and efficient data systems.

- Utilize Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF) to build modern data lakehouse architectures.

- Develop high-performance, production-grade data solutions using Scala (mandatory) or Python (optional).

- Write complex SQL queries for data processing and analysis tasks.

- Drive the end-to-end delivery of at least one major big data project, ensuring quality, scalability, and robustness.

- Engage in problem-solving and provide innovative solutions for complex business challenges.

Key Skills in focus :

- Proficiency in Scala (mandatory) for developing scalable applications, with optional expertise in Python strong SQL skills for querying, transforming, and analyzing data.

- Proven experience in data engineering, including hands-on development, optimization, and management of data pipelines, with at least one major big data project successfully delivered to production.

- Expertise in Azure Cloud services such as blob storage and SQL databases; proficiency in Databricks for building data pipelines and scalable lakehouse solutions, and hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for workflow orchestration and automation.

- Strong problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
