Job Description
- 3-7 years in M&A, Investment Banking, or Venture Capital roles.
- Proven track record of successfully managing acquisition transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including valuation, forecasting, and benchmarking.
- Build complex financial models to support decision-making in acquisitions and investments.
- Perform industry research and competitive mapping for identifying potential opportunities.
- Support due diligence processes, analyzing financial, operational, and market risks.
- Prepare and deliver investment memoranda, pitch decks, and other strategic presentations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure seamless transaction execution.
- Manage and maintain databases like Bloomberg, Crunchbase, FactSet, and other financial tools.
- Monitor post-transaction integration processes and portfolio performance.
Must-Have Skills:
- Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation methods, and market analysis.
- Tools Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Office, G-Suite, and financial databases (Bloomberg, FactSet, Crunchbase, Tracxn).
- Sector Knowledge: Experience with M&A activities in technology, data, and AI.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to perform in-depth financial and operational analysis.
- Communication: Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
Can-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of programming languages (R, SPSS, C++, Java) for financial analytics.
- Familiarity with advanced research tools (FitchConnect, Grata, Eviews).
- Experience in venture capital or private equity.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Exposure to global markets, including US, European, and Indian landscapes.
- Understanding of IT services and SaaS industries.
- Experience in deal structuring for mid-market acquisitions.
- Ability to enhance sourcing algorithms or streamline outreach processes.
Education:
- MSc in Finance, Investment, or a related field.
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance.
