Job Description
Were seeking a highly skilled Senior Software License Expert to join our Managed Services team. As a key member of our licensing team, youll be responsible for providing comprehensive license management services to multiple clients, including procurement, allocation, optimization, and team management.
Responsibilities: - Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique licensing needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Procurement: Manage the procurement of software licenses, ensuring compliance with vendor agreements and obtaining the best possible pricing and terms.
- Optimization: Develop strategies to optimize software licensing costs for clients, including identifying unused licenses, consolidating licenses, and negotiating favourable terms with vendors.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate favourable licensing terms, resolve licensing disputes, and stay informed about licensing updates on behalf of multiple clients.
- Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive licensing reports for each client, including license usage analysis, compliance assessments, cost optimization recommendations, and procurement activities.
- Consulting: Provide expert guidance to clients on software licensing best practices, compliance requirements, and optimization strategies.
- Automation: Implement and maintain tools and processes for automating license management tasks, such as license reconciliation, reporting, and procurement.
- Training: Conduct training sessions for clients and team members on software licensing best practices, compliance requirements, and procurement processes.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of license management professionals, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality services to clients.
- Allocation: Allocate licenses to end-users based on their needs and usage patterns, ensuring optimal utilization and compliance.
- Compliance Audits: Conduct regular audits to assess software license compliance for multiple clients, identifying potential risks and non-compliance issues.
