Lead Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing (5-12 yrs)

Job Description :

As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of QA analysts and testers who are responsible for testing the products developed by the company. In this role, you will be required to work closely with the development team in order to ensure that the products meet the quality standards set by the company. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining test plans and schedules.

A QA Lead is responsible for leading a team of testers in order to ensure the quality of software products or systems. They work closely with software development teams in order to identify and fix defects before release. A QA Lead usually has at least 4 years of experience in software testing and is familiar with various software testing tools and methodologies.

QA Lead Responsibilities :

- Leading a team of testers and be responsible for the quality of their work

- Creating test plans and strategies

- Identifying and documenting defects

- Tracking Quality Assurance metrics (e.g. defect density, open defect count)

- Participating in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives

- Coordinating with other teams to ensure timely delivery of quality software products

QA Requirements & Skills :

- 4-7 years of experience in software product/application testing & Mobile Application Testing

- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools

- Strong knowledge of automation techniques.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to lead and motivate a team of testers

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

- Experience with test management tools (e.g. JIRA, Selenium and JMeter)
