Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
General Ledger Management: Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, including reconciliation of accounts and ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions.
Month-End and Year-End Close: Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing detailed analysis of variances and financial performance.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements. Assist with audits and respond to auditor inquiries.
Tax Preparation: Support tax filings and work with tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely submission of tax returns.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior accountants and accounting staff, providing training and support as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or other relevant certification preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
