Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Manager - Hardware Manufacturing & Production to organize and oversee the manufacturing and production of Fasal IoT hardware. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output. We expect you to have deep know-how in production procedures, process engineering, manufacturing & operations functions. The ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part of your day. The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Convert strategies into action by liaising with other departments and managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.
• Analyze, develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing operation sequences, specifications, and equipment, requirements for production/assembly of new and existing products.
• Interpret product design requirements into manufacturing process specifications and organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
• Work closely with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality during all phases of product development to optimize designs for cost, performance, manufacturability, service, and reliability.
• Plan, budget, and direct the organizational resources to ensure the achievement of business objectives.
• Forecast the operations CapEx & OpEx based on business demand for the next 5 years and support the finance dept to finalize P&L.
• Monitor the KRAs (Safety, Morale, Quality, Cost, and Delivery) periodically against the budget/target and initiating appropriate measures.
• Define processes and monitor production to resolve issues and mitigate risk.
• Vendor negotiation, onboarding, and management.
• Ensure output meets our quality standards.
• Enforce health and safety precautions.

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in electronics, mechanical, industrial engineering or similar domain with a minimum of 6 years of experience.
• Proven experience as production manager. Prior experience in the IoT industry is a big plus point.
• Deep knowledge of production and process management.
• Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
• Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP software.
• Outstanding communication ability.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
