Devops Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to work closely with development teams in deploying and launching applications across diverse technology stacks, including Node.js, Java, WordPress, and more. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments across multiple infrastructures.

Key responsibilities include monitoring applications, servers, and resources to ensure optimal performance and availability, identifying optimization opportunities, and implementing improvements for cloud resources. You will collaborate with internal development teams and clients to deploy applications in AWS, Azure, and other cloud environments while ensuring security best practices and automation to enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide cloud support for in-house and client projects.
• Monitor firewalls and manage logs for security and performance insights.
• Address critical support tickets for Ubuntu and Windows environments.
• Manage IPSec connections between Ahmedabad and Pune offices.
• Document all technical issues and resolutions for future reference.
• Ensure adherence to SLA guidelines defined by the department.
• Track and optimize cloud costs across AWS and Azure.
• Maintain resource tracking for cloud infrastructure.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• Strong expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience in local firewall setup and monitoring (Fortinet, Sophos, SonicWall, etc.).
• Knowledge of end-point security best practices.
• Proficiency in P2P VPN configurations and IPSec VPN troubleshooting.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash for automation.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience with web servers (Apache, Nginx).
• Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Grafana, Loki, Prometheus.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams effectively.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
