On a look for a Media Director to work with leading Digital Media Agency.
Job Purpose:
- Effectively managing accounts, teams, strategizing for campaigns, guiding the team, projecting budgets, vendor identification, and coordination accordingly, allocating resources for clients.
- Leading the respective team (Media Planners, Buyers, Managers) to proactively develop and propose value-added ideas / insights to drive the development and execution of campaigns of key accounts on a regular basis.
- Ensuring deliverables are met.
- Monitoring current accounts to ascertain ways to extract business from existing accounts as well as keep a close eye on competitor offerings to identify potential business avenues and improve current offerings.
- Improve on processes driving the Media team with suggestions and strategic inputs (Reporting, Strategic Implementation and Media Tracking and optimization).
- Training, Grooming and coaching existing team members on new technologies, innovation and tactical strategies.
- Responsible for billing and revenues both on Vendor and Client side, plus upselling on existing campaigns.
- Participate in new business pitches and presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for:
- Taking a lead in clients' marketing and advertising strategies.
- Lead agency's top media accounts and manage client relationship, internal and external meetings and calls.
- Manage media budgets more than 25 crore+ optimizing spends and help grow scalability as well as profitability.
- Analyse performance of all media marketing channels daily, weekly and monthly to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Primary marketing channels include Paid Search, Display, Social & Affiliate.
- Keenly focused on testing & optimizations to increase ROI.
- Strategic lead for revenue growth, including new product development and business segments.
- Leading a team to provide the utmost level of client servicing capabilities.
- Liaising with clients at a senior level on a day-to-day basis.
- Promoting the expansion of business with existing clients.
- Working with other senior managers to generate new accounts.
- Completing projects to a specific schedule and within an agreed budget.
- Understand intricate details of all media operations, including search marketing, programmatic media, video marketing, mobile advertising, etc.
- Through his/her relationships, and teams obtaining the best possible rates, adjusting media schedules in response to effectiveness, managing budgets, and monitoring and updating clients on the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Periodic evaluation and optimization of key metrics for ongoing process to define better ROI for clients.
Required Skill Set:
- Proven work experience as a Digital Media Manager/ Sr. Manager.
- Hands on experience with SEO/SEM and CRM software.
- Experience implementing and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns.
- In-depth understanding of online marketing tools and social media platforms.
- Experience with customer service and account management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge and experience with all forms of paid digital media including search, social, display, programmatic, native, etc.
- Should be passionate for digital media, excellent at performance media methods, and a good leader.
- Excellent understanding of variety of digital marketing products such as targeted display, social media ads, SEO, PPC, email marketing, text marketing, reputation management, online directories etc.
