Welspun GCC - Product Engineer - Industry 4.0 (2-7 yrs)

Job Description :

- Lead the development and execution of Industry 4.0 strategies, including IOT, Al, robotics, big data, automation, AR, smart sensors, and digital transformation initiatives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains through the application of Industry 4.0 technologies.

- Provide expert advice and guidance on the application of industrial IOT, digital twins, cybersecurity, data analytics, and cloud platforms.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of digital transformation initiatives with business objectives.

- Conduct regular reviews of Industry 4.0 initiatives to assess their effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.

- Stay abreast of the latest developments in Industry 4.0 technologies and trends, and provide recommendations on their application within the organization.

- Lead and mentor a team of consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement,

- Ensure adherence to data privacy and cybersecurity standards in all Industry 4.0 initiatives.

- Work closely with the IT department to ensure the seamless integration of Industry 4.0 technologies with existing systems.

- Drive the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies across the organization through effective change management strategies.

Functional Competencies :

- Industrial IOT : The candidate should have a deep understanding of the Industrial Internet of Things (IloT) and its applications in various industries. This includes knowledge of 110T devices, platforms, and protocols, as well as the ability to design and implement 110T solutions.

- Digital Twins : The candidate should have experience in creating and managing digital twins, which are virtual replicas of physical devices that data scientists and IT pros can use to run simulations before actual devices are built and deployed.

- Cybersecurity : The candidate should have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, especially as they relate to industrial systems and IOT devices.

- Data Analytics : The candidate should be proficient in analyzing large amounts of raw data to find patterns and use those patterns to optimize performance and draw conclusions.

- Python, R : The candidate should have strong programming skills, particularly in Python and R, which are commonly used for data analysis and machine learning tasks.

- Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) : The candidate should have experience with major cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP. This includes understanding of cloud architecture, services, and deployment models.
