Performance Marketing Lead
Job Description:
- This role is for one of the Weekday's clients.
- We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Performance Marketing Lead to drive our customer acquisition through paid media channels, including Meta, Google, and more.
- In this role, you will collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to meet acquisition targets and optimize cost-per-acquisition (CAC) while managing and mentoring a team of marketing professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Channel Ownership & Target Achievement: Manage paid media channels and deliver on monthly customer acquisition goals while adhering to CAC objectives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to develop compelling communications and high-quality marketing collateral.
- Creative Optimization: Partner with the creative team to continuously refine messaging and improve CAC and conversion rates (CVR).
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead a team of 3-4 marketing managers/analysts, focusing on their skill development and career growth.
- Campaign Management: Oversee all digital campaigns from concept through to execution, optimization, and performance analysis.
- Process Optimization: Establish processes for monitoring, measuring, and optimizing performance marketing metrics that align with business impact.
- Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget to meet monthly and annual acquisition targets.
- Ad Campaign Oversight: Direct paid advertising across various digital platforms, including social media, search engines, and programmatic advertising.
- Performance Analysis: Regularly monitor and adjust campaigns to exceed KPIs like return on ad spend (ROAS) and CAC.
- Testing & Experimentation: Lead A/B testing and experimentation with creatives, copy, and targeting strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with content, marketing, and analytics teams to ensure alignment with campaigns, promotions, and data insights.
- Industry Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies to drive innovation.
- SEO/ASO Leadership: Lead all SEO/ASO initiatives to maximize organic growth and maintain a balanced CAC.
Qualifications:
- 6-9 years of experience in performance marketing.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Strong skills in digital marketing across performance and brand channels, including search, content, and social media.
- Proven experience in developing and executing SEO and content marketing strategies from scratch.
- In-depth understanding of online marketing, audience targeting, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Appsflyer, Metabase, Clevertap).
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach and strong project management skills.
