Job Description
The Product Owner must understand the broader context within which Jaltol as a tool exists and must be a believer in Jaltol s potential to help with Monitoring and Evaluation of watershed programmes. He/she must be strategically minded in looking for opportunities to increase Jaltol s user base and willing to reach out to many potential users to understand their pain points in MEL. The Product Owner will also be responsible for leading UX testing of the product to ensure it s development meets the requirements of the current user base.
Responsibilities - Development of a strategic roadmap for Jaltol for the year 2025-26.
- Outreach to new NGOs that could potentially be users of Jaltol
- Outreach to CSR representatives to explore opportunities for the use of Jaltol for impact assessment.
- Being the public facing representative of Jaltol for WELL Labs. Engaging with other teams internally and also funders on anything Jaltol related.
- Leading the UX testing programme of Jaltol.
- Guiding the Jaltol team on UI/UX and product development.
Qualifications and Skills
Candidate must have at least a Bachelor s degree in a STEM field. Knowledge of digital technologies is vital. Experience on open source projects in a role as an IC would be useful. Experience with management of teams and familiarity with work in the development sector is desirable.
