Senior Dot Net Developer

Job Description:

As a Senior .NET Developer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions. You will be responsible for building and enhancing robust applications using ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, and related technologies. Your expertise in object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and modern development practices will contribute to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient web applications using ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core.
• Web API Development: Implement and manage RESTful Web APIs for integration with front-end applications and third-party services.
• Clean Code Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Dependency Injection & OOPs: Apply strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts and Dependency Injection to build modular and testable systems.
• SOLID Principles & Design Patterns: Implement SOLID principles and various design patterns (e.g., Singleton, Factory, Repository) to ensure high-quality, reusable code.
• LINQ & EF/Dapper: Work with LINQ queries and Entity Framework or Dapper for data access and manipulation.
• Database Optimization: Write optimized SQL queries and perform performance tuning on SQL Server databases.
• Debugging & Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues in complex applications, providing efficient debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Version Control: Use version control systems like Git, TFS, or SVN to manage code changes and collaborate with team members.
• Unit Testing & CI/CD: Write unit tests using frameworks like xUnit or NUnit. Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Code Reviews: Participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to development standards.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Actively engage in requirement discussions with stakeholders and ensure technical solutions align with business needs.
• Test-Driven Development (TDD): Follow a test-driven development approach to ensure the robustness of the application.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on development experience with .NET technologies, including ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, and Web API development.
• Fundamentals: Strong understanding of .NET fundamentals, OOP principles, and design patterns.
• Database Expertise: Good knowledge of SQL and performance tuning, with experience in ORM frameworks like Entity Framework or Dapper.
• Version Control: Experience with version control systems such as Git, TFS, or SVN.
• Unit Testing: Proficiency in writing unit tests using frameworks like xUnit or NUnit.
• CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing/deployment.
• Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and experience debugging complex application issues.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.

Good to Have:

• Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cosmos DB.
• Understanding of Microservice Architecture and principles.
