Job Description
- Installation and Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical problems using testing devices and repair or replace defective components
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret electrical blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations while working on electrical systems to prevent hazards and accidents
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, repairs conducted, and time spent on tasks
- Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or relevant technical training
- Valid electrician's license or certification as required by the region
- Knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations
- Key Attributes:Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical systems, tools, and equipment used in installation and repair work
- Attention to Detail: Precision in diagnosing electrical issues and conducting repairs accurately
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and solve electrical problems efficiently
