Job Description

About Project:

This project aims to revolutionize healthcare data management by developing advanced data pipelines and integration solutions. The goal is to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of healthcare data ingestion, monitoring, and reporting. The project encompasses multiple tracks of work, including Release Management, DevOps, Data Solutions, FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources), and Platform development.

About Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled SDET with a strong background in C#, .NET, and Azure to design, develop, and maintain robust test automation solutions. This role involves ensuring software quality, reliability, and performance through advanced testing techniques and tools. The ideal candidate will have experience building test harnesses and automation frameworks, working with modern databases, and creating dashboards and monitoring systems for performance and operational insights.

Responsibilities:

Test Automation Development:
- Build and maintain test harnesses and test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks to improve efficiency and adaptability.
- Develop automated test cases for functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
Performance Testing:
- Design and execute performance tests using tools like JMeter with Groovy scripts.
- Leverage tools such as Azure Load Tests for performance benchmarking and monitoring.
- Handle and analyze large datasets, including Synthea and NDJSON, to support testing.
Database and Big Data Testing:
- Work with databases such as CosmosDB, Azure Table Storage, SQL, and Kusto for testing and test data management.
- Develop strategies for testing big data applications and large-scale systems.
CI/CD Integration:
- Build and maintain test pipelines in Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
- Ensure automated tests are seamlessly integrated into the CI/CD process for consistent and reliable execution.
Dashboards and Monitoring:
- Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor test metrics and performance trends.
- Set up monitoring systems to track system reliability, test coverage, and operational health.
Test Data and Environment Management:
- Create, manage, and optimize test data for diverse scenarios, including large and complex datasets.
- Use database cloning and synthetic data generation techniques for test environments.
API and UI Testing:
- Conduct API testing using tools like Bruno to validate REST APIs and ensure data integrity.
- Automate UI testing using tools like Selenium or Playwright to ensure interface reliability
Quality Assurance and Bug Management:
- Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.
- Implement strategies to improve overall software quality and reliability.

Required Qualifications:

Strong programming and unit testing skills in C# and .NET.
Experience with Azure services, including CI/CD pipelines, database management, and monitoring tools.
Expertise in test harness and test automation framework development (from scratch and improving existing frameworks).
Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like JMeter and Groovy scripts.
Proficiency in working with databases such as CosmosDB, Azure Table Storage, SQL, and Kusto.
Knowledge of big data tools and datasets, including Synthea and NDJSON.
Experience with API testing tools like Bruno.
Familiarity with UI automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in creating dashboards and monitoring systems for performance and operational insights.
Knowledge of healthcare standards such as FHIR.
Familiarity with accessibility testing and triaging related issues.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
