This position is a part of theContent Strategy and Services vertical of the Wadhwani Skilling Network that designs,develops and deploys learning experiences focused on the target audiences forvarious programs across the globe. This role requires astrategic approach to creating engaging and effective learning experiences fordiverse audience profiles, leveraging advancements in educational technologyand digital learning.
The recruit will be responsible for guidingand mentoring junior instructional designers and content project managers,ensuring high-quality content creation, and maintaining instructionalintegrity. This role involves end-to-end project management, including scoping,budgeting, stakeholder collaboration, and content development oversight.Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools, instructional design frameworks, andlearning theories is essential, along with expertise in MS Excel for projecttracking and budget management.
The recruit will collaborate closely withSMEs, graphic designers, LMS teams, and other stakeholders to drive impactfullearning interventions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical andproblem-solving skills, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to managemultiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Pedagogical approaches powered by research: Incorporate effective pedagogical techniques keeping learner atcenter, selecting the appropriate models based on need, to enable outcomes fromthe learning product. Deliver engagingpedagogy that stems from the understanding of learner profiles and varyinglearning styles for the targeted skills, while being anchored on the solidfoundation of the theory of learning for such learners.
- Instructional design strategy: Identifyemerging trends and best practices in instructional design and contentdevelopment to envision, design and configure appropriate InstructionalStrategy for target audiences varying across geography, prior knowledge andgoals.
Designinstruction for various categories of learning products, while keeping thetarget learner in focus. Manage the balance between design-superiority andpragmatic implementation-constraints. Stay updated on advancements in the field of learning platforms,services, AI technology to understand & use their potential. Bringefficiency and agility in design and development.
- Innovative approaches in learning content : Recommend effective and innovative learning content interventionsfor specific learning products. Align with established models and standards.Drive the development and implementation of such innovative learningexperiences. Learning Content should augmentthe pedagogical approaches, tangibly bringing to form, the rich-design.Technological tools to be judiciously leveraged to bring about concrete contentdeliverables including but not limited to microlearning, stackable-credentialing, gamification, adaptive learning experiences etc. Be responsiblefor deployment of solutions for such distinctive pedagogical experiences withthe LMS platform teams post QA.
- Project Planning andExecution: Develop comprehensive project plans forcontent design and development. Execute projects with effective coordinationacross internal and external teams, vendors and stakeholders. Proficiently useMS Excel in planning and management.
- Quality, Time and CostManagement : Monitor project budgets, make necessaryadjustments keeping the focus on meeting commitments of time and quality. Overseequality checks at different project stages to ensure deliverables meet highstandards. Utilize project resources effectively, based on strengths andrequirements.
- Learning and Development : Keep yourself updated in the developments in the field of learningprinciples, design, services and content development. Train junior IDs andPMs.
Skills & Experience :
Education: Graduate or Post-graduate in a relevant field.
Experience: 10+ years. Last 4 years in coordination andmanagement of edtech projects
ExcellentCommunication Skills.
Strong relationship and oralcommunication skills, including the ability to engage effectively withexecutive leadership and strategic partners
Strong Englishlanguage proficiency with excellent grammar and proofreading skills.
Understandingof project scoping and execution , with the ability to use MS Excelfor tracking project timelines, and maintainingsimple project budgets, andreporting
Problemsolver attitude. Ability to meet deadlines, adapt to changes, and maintainhigh-quality standards in content development.
