Android Developer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Android Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building robust, scalable, and innovative mobile applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences and seamless app functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Implement modern architectural patterns like MVVM using LiveData and Room DB for data management.
• Design and enhance intuitive user interfaces using ConstraintLayout, animations, and transitions to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Integrate RESTful APIs using Retrofit and manage dependency injection with Dagger/Hilt.
• Leverage Data Binding for efficient UI development and ensure quality with Unit Testing and UI Testing tools.
• Manage app performance, optimize memory usage, and ensure efficient memory management.
• Collaborate with teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and streamline app distribution processes.
• Maintain version control and collaborate using Git and GitHub.
• Work on cross-functional projects involving Swift, enabling seamless interoperability and integration with iOS development teams.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Explore and implement modern tools like Jetpack Compose for UI development.
• Integrate with third-party services and SDKs to enhance app functionality.
• Utilize the Paging Library for efficient data handling in large datasets.
• Manage app publishing and distribution on Google Play Store.
• Collaborate with QA teams for automated UI testing and bug fixes.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong programming skills in Java and Kotlin with a deep understanding of coroutines, extension functions, and higher-order functions.
• Proficient in Swift for cross-platform or backend integrations.
• Experience with modern Android libraries and frameworks, including Retrofit, Dagger/Hilt, Data Binding, Room DB, and Firebase.
• Expertise in ConstraintLayout, animations, transitions, and Jetpack Compose.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
• Solid understanding of app lifecycle, memory management, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and experience with automated UI Testing tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cross-platform tools or frameworks.
• Knowledge of publishing and maintaining apps in the Google Play Store.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
