UI/UX Designer

Job description:

We are looking for a User Interface Designer who is creatively sharp and will be creating visually engaging, innovative UI Designs and is able to bring the vision and concepts to life along with good sketching skills.

As our UI Designer your responsibilities will include areas of design such as typography, iconography, color-space-alignment concepts, illustration, prototyping and textures. You will use your knowledge, expertise, and skills in all these fields to help our users successfully navigate and be comfortable with our products.

Role & responsibilities

1. Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
2. Creating branding materials time to time such as posters, pamphlets, graphics for social media etc.
3. Creating a drawing that expresses an idea or concept, candidate should be able to create 2d flat modern style vector characters and backgrounds for educational video.
4. Colour concepts, design methodologies.
5. Creating user centric design philosophy.
6. Able to understand design briefs and translate them into high quality creatives.
7. Illustration, logos, and other design elements.
8. Designing marketing collateral including but not limited to digital banners, brochures, print ads etc.

Preferred candidate profile

1. 1-5 years of experience in creating and implementing UI design.
2. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple project tasks efficiently.
3. Excellent UI design portfolio.
4. Solid experience in creating wireframes, user flows, process flows and site maps.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good time-management skills.
6. Up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
7. Must be very good at drawing, digital and manual.
8. Ability to troubleshoot using HTML, CSS and comparable languages would be an added advantage.
9. Attention to detail and a good eye for aesthetics.
10. Able to create digital illustration in drawing tablet, must be strong in semi realistic art.
