Guidewire Developer

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Guidewire Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Guidewire tools and applications, experience in the insurance domain, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality solutions in a collaborative environment.

Education Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related scientific or technical discipline from an accredited institution is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Guidewire-based solutions, including application configuration, integration, and customization.
• Plan, design, and document data integration processes of varying complexity.
• Develop test plan specifications, and execute testing and debugging processes in line with defined plans.
• Work closely with customers on user acceptance testing, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Display initiative and self-motivation to deliver high-quality work while meeting deadlines for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement DevOps practices, optimizing development workflows.

Requirements

• Experience: 5-12 years of professional experience, with a focus on Guidewire tools and applications.
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire application configuration, integration, and customization, including support and maintenance.
• Domain Expertise: Solid understanding of the insurance domain, specifically property and casualty insurance.
• Familiarity with tools and methodologies for rapid development, including DevOps and Agile/SCRUM environments.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Strong knowledge of Java, XML, JSON, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and messaging protocols.
• Experience in batch implementation and workflow design.
• Knowledge of tools like JIRA and Confluence.
