Job Description:

A good working knowledge of Clean water and/or wastewater WTP/STP/ETP engineering design including pumped and gravity hydraulic design, P&ID, plant layout and General Arrangement drawings.

Hydraulics Design for Raw Water, Clear Water Transmission and Distribution Network for Urban and Rural project.

Economic Pipe Sizing and Surge Analysis for transmission main.

Complex hydraulic network design for water and waste water with the help of Water Gems & Sewer Gems software.

Preparation of pipe BOQ and its costing for complete project.

Preparation of Civil, Electrical & Instrumentation load list.

Design and costing of all electro-mechanical equipment like pumps, blowers, valves, screens, gates etc. which is used in WTP/STP projects during bidding stage.

Continuous in contact with vendors to get optimize commercial offer from them.

Site visit to project location before Pre-bid meeting to know about Geographical condition, challenging work patch, availability of material, labour, etc.

Compilation of all department cost and final cost presentation to management before bid submission.

Job Specifications:

Bachelor/ masters degree in mechanical engineering.

Typically, have a minimum of 10 years related work experience.

Piping and mechanical equipment design.

A good working knowledge of clean water and/or wastewater engineering design principals, equipment selection criteria and treatment processes.

Familiar with Indian (IS) and International Standards

Well versed with WaterGems, SewerGems & Autocad.

Have excellent data manipulation abilities (MS Excel)
