Manager - Projects & Approvals

Role & responsibilities -

• Sequencing of project activities and creating an environment which is conducive to produce results.
• Developing budgets for getting finances from the steel project management to fund the expenditures needed for the project.
• Management of available resources in an efficient manner.
• Developing schedules for different stages of the project and management of time.
• Taking of required approvals timely both from the steel project management and the regulatory agencies.
• Carrying out the internal coordination with various departments in the organization of the steel project.
• Spearheading the preparation, submission, and follow-up of tenders for high-value government and PSU projects, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks. • Conducting thorough research on upcoming government projects, devising actionable plans, and implementing strategies to secure project wins. • Managing the end-to-end approvals process across a diverse range of sectors and prestigious organizations, including, but not limited to:
• Government Departments: Indian Railways, Irrigation and Water Resources, Public Health Engineering (PHE), Public Works Department (PWD), National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Military Engineer Services (MES), Central Public Works Department (CPWD), and Smart City projects, etc.
• Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs): Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL), Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), and Airports Authority of India (AAI).
• Private entities and corporations: Indus Towers, GMR Group, Tata Projects, Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Shapoorji Pallonji Group, Adani Group, Reliance Infrastructure, and other major EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) players.
• Ensuring seamless communication and coordination with senior officials and decision-makers within these organizations to expedite the approvals process. • Driving sales growth in government and PSU segments by fostering strong relationships, identifying key opportunities, and delivering value-driven proposals.
• Developing and executing strategies to achieve organization-wide goals for project sales, approval acquisition, and client satisfaction.
• Overseeing compliance with technical, commercial, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaising with the project stake holders which include the regulatory authorities.
