Technical Product Owner

Open VisaNet (OVN), is the Next Generation of Visa s core payment service - VisaNet. OVN will use best-in-class technology components to push the envelope as a highly scalable, secure, cost-effective and distributed application on commodity hardware. Open VisaNet (OVN) is one of Visas Key initiatives which will help Visa support in-country and global processing solutions while providing Visa an opportunity to move away from proprietary hardware systems. Realizing the vision of OVN requires the collaboration of an exceptional group of software engineers, security specialists, DevOps engineers, payment experts, infrastructure architects and business analysts.

OVN is being delivered using an Agile process aligned with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The Technical Product Owner will be responsible for assigned areas of VisaNet, documenting current capabilities that will be implemented in OVN. The Product Owner will work with the Visa business areas and technical SMEs to document the requirements and work in an OVN Agile Team to define stories, manage the Team Backlog and lead the product delivery.

8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work exp
