Role & Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy and Planning : Develop and execute comprehensive financial plans aligned with the company's strategic objectives, providing strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team.
- ALM & ALCO Strategy and Leadership: Develop and lead ALM strategies to manage liquidity and interest rate risks. Chair ALCO meetings to review balance sheet risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and align financial goals. Oversee stress testing, scenario analysis, and collaborate with treasury and risk teams for proactive risk management.
- RBI Reporting & Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate submission of all regulatory reports to the RBI, including ALM and liquidity returns, while coordinating audits and maintaining robust systems for data accuracy and compliance with evolving regulations.
- Financial Management: Oversee all financial operations,including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Fund Raising & Investor Relationship: Lead fundraising efforts, while building and maintaining strong investor relationships to ensure transparent communication and foster trust with stakeholders.
- Cost Leadership and Optimization : Spearhead cost leadership and optimization efforts across the business to maximize asset utilization and drive business improvement initiatives.
- Financial Reporting and Presentation : Own financial responsibilities, including financial reporting and budgetary management, and present to the Management, Shareholders Committees, and the Board of Directors.
- Treasury & Cash Flow Management: Collaborate with the treasury team to ensure efficient cash flow management, investment of surplus funds, and optimization of borrowing costs.
- Monitoring Financial Practices : Monitor and review finance and treasury policies, procedures, and practices in line with accounting standards, legal requirements, and good industry practice.
- Risk Management : Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, developing strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities, ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Team Leadership and Development : Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning, and providing mentorship and guidance to team members.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 12 Years of experience
- Education: CA
- Must be from a NBFC doing LAP
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Proven experience in finance leadership roles
- Experience managing financial risks and compliance.
- Strategic Financial Planning Skills
- Must have good Investor Relations
