Summary:

We are seeking a talented Power BI developer to join our Business Intelligence team. A Power BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft s Power BI platform. Their primary role is to turn data into meaningful insights that can be used to make informed business decisions

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Transform raw data into meaningful metrics and visualizations.
• Implement row-level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI.
• Integrate multiple data sources, including databases, Excel spreadsheets, cloud-based and on-premises sources.
• Use Power Query to manipulate data from various sources.
• Optimize dashboards and reports for performance.
• Ensure data refresh processes are efficient and timely.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and refine report requirements.
• Present complex information using data visualization techniques.
• Provide training and support to business users on Power BI.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Troubleshoot issues with reports and data models.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest Power BI updates and features.
• Document technical specifications, data models, and processes.
• Maintain a library of model documents, templates, or other reusable knowledge assets.

Requirements:

• 4+ relevant years of experience.
• Proven experience with Power BI or other BI tools.
• Strong understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP), and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) framework.
• Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
• Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
