Job Description
- Exploring and enhancing knowledge base on the processes of Regulatory compliance: ISI Mark Certification Scheme-Product Certification Scheme for domestic manufacturers and Foreign Manufacturing Certification Scheme (FMCS).
- Prepare technical documentation as per the regulatory requirements.
- End-to-End delivery of the projects, by being an interface between the clients & the vendors.
- Setting-up good contacts within the industry, government departments, as well as ministry.
- Preparing the requirement checklist for the projects and to keep updating it periodically.
- Sharing status of all the running projects to the clients and simultaneously recording and maintaining project tracker for internal data analysis.
- Timely broadcasting information to all clients as per any new government regulation or changes in the existing regulations.
- Coordination with the testing labs and review of the Test reports as per the applicable standard.
- Responsible for coordination with the internal teams, for customs clearance of the samples and sample management.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency in compliance and documentation management.
- Propose and implement solutions to enhance the overall compliance strategy and documentation workflow as well as maintaining business flow with the existing clients.
- Supporting clients w.r.t. on-site audits/pre-conformance audit required as per compliance laws.
- Meeting Clients, Vendors, Testing labs etc. as per the requirement.
- Participate in industry associations like MAIT, CII, CEAMA & RAMA.
- Knowledge of BIS regulatory requirements (specially under ISI Mark registration scheme covering domestic and FMCD).
- Candidate should have suitable understanding of the certification / approvals / licenses required for the import and manufacturing of the products which are notified by DPIIT (Ministry of Commerce & Industry) through various Quality Control Orders (QCOs).
- Medical devices and Cosmetics in India.
- Candidate should be aware of the regulatory bodies and applicable Indian standards required for the safety and quality certification of the products regulated under ISI Mark Certification Scheme.
- Candidate should have good knowledge of the project execution, having experience in the project handling along with brief understanding of the industry and the requirements of the regulations.
- Candidate should be aware with the BIS s online portal.
- Experience in consumer durable products, white goods, Footwear, Textiles, Toys, electrical appliances, and other products which are notified under Quality Control Orders (QCOs).
- Should have experience with functional, safety and reliability related testing.
