Business Analyst - Software Development

Roles & Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable about the Agile Delivery methodology and key concepts such as stories, story points, preparing detailed documents on SOW (Scope of Work), with acceptance criteria, Definition of Ready to incorporate new code and Definition of SOW Done.
• Documentation should be able to positively influence and collaborate with colleagues to deliver business outcomes and to be able to communicate effectively to the shop floor and the board.
• Create and maintain a backlog of stories for the technical delivery team using best practices. Be the subject matter expert for the business processes within the relevant business domain. Produce high-quality documentation that clearly states all business requirements
• Write training materials and provide training to internal stakeholders (documentation, online video). Collaborate with technical writers to create documentation for user support.
• Collaborate with business heads and developers to produce software designs, able to think critically and in a problem-solving manner effectively. The ability to work under own initiative with an objective approach is a must.
• Knowledge in the BFSI / Financial Domain / online transaction platform / Accounting software / Investment & Wealth Management domain is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in .NET development, at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC), Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies, would be an added advantage.

Preferred candidate profile

• An experienced Business Analyst (3+ years) to join our team.
• You will support the Engineering, Managerial and work/task as part of the technical delivery team
• To identify, scope and deliver the business requirements for a wide array of business problems.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining documentation for both business managerial and the technical team, as well as the backlog of stories for the technical delivery team.
• Candidate should be delivery focused and highly organized.
