Position Summary - Program Associate The Program Associate - Production will work closely with the Production team in managing and streamlining the production processes, ensuring efficient communication and task execution between artisans, supervisors, designers, and the management team. This position is responsible for maintaining quality standards, timely delivery, and cost efficiency while contributing to the development of product catalogs and addressing artisan needs.

Relationship (Outside Organization) Artisans, Subject matter experts, Government Departments, Business houses, Development sector partners.
Brief Job Description
1.Support in Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules based on orders and client requirements. Coordinate with artisans and production teams to ensure smooth workflow.
2.Raw Material Management: Oversee the procurement and inventory management of materials. Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Production Coordinator.
3.Quality Control Assistance: Conduct preliminary quality checks and report deviations. Collaborate with artisans to ensure adherence to quality standards.
4.Artisan Engagement: Act as a point of contact for artisans, addressing their day-to-day concerns. Support the team in resolving production challenges faced by artisans.
5.Monitoring & Reporting: Maintain and update production progress trackers. Prepare basic production reports for internal reviews.
6.Catalog Development Support: Collaborate with the design team to document product details. Ensure the accuracy of product specifications and visuals in catalogs.
7.Coordination & Communication: Effectively organize the communications between artisans and stakeholders for smooth operations.
8.Training & Development: Identify artisan skill gaps and recommend relevant training programs. Promote innovation and eco-friendly practices among artisans.
9.Perform other duties as required to align with organizational priorities or donor requirements.
Key Deliverables
• Timely and accurate reporting of production progress and stock levels.
• Mapping of artisans as per their skillsets to the order requirements.
• Conducting regular artisan visits to identify quality issues and resolve them in preliminary checks itself.
• Effective communication and coordination with artisans and stakeholders.
• Creation of catalogues as per the requirements promptly.
• Submission of reports with qualitative and quantitative data with adherence to M&E.
Skills & Competencies
Good knowledge of handloom production techniques and materials.
Ability to multitask and handle diverse responsibilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic MIS tools.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Telugu.
Good organizational and relationship-building skills.
Experience & Qualifications
Education: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Textile/Handloom Technology or a related field.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in textile/handloom production or coordination.
Knowledge: Familiarity with handloom processes and basic catalog management.
