Production Manager

Job Summary:

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process, ensuring production efficiency, quality control, and timely delivery. The role involves coordinating with various departments, managing resources, and implementing best practices to optimize productivity and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Execution:

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet business requirements.
• Ensure efficient use of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to maintain required stock levels.
• Monitor production workflow to ensure timely completion of targets.

Quality Control & Compliance:

• Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain production standards.

Team Management & Leadership:

• Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to enhance performance.
• Assign tasks and monitor team productivity.
• Foster a positive work environment and resolve conflicts when necessary.
• Ensure workforce adherence to company policies and procedures.

Process Improvement & Cost Optimization:

• Identify areas for process improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles where applicable.
• Analyze production data and reports to make data-driven decisions.
• Manage budgets and control operational costs.

Equipment & Maintenance:

• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of machinery and equipment.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to reduce downtime and increase operational efficiency.
• Ensure safety protocols and preventive maintenance plans are followed.

• Production efficiency and output.

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Full-time position with shift-based or standard working hours.
