Quality Control Manager

Bachelors degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related

field; Masters degree preferred.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in quality control within the edible oil industry or a

similar food processing sector.

• Strong understanding of edible oil processing techniques, quality parameters, and

testing methods.

• Knowledge of industry regulations such as FSSAI, AGMARK, HACCP, and ISO
• Leadership skills to manage a team and drive quality improvements.

The Quality Control Manager oversees all quality control activities to ensure that products

meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. This role involves developing

quality control procedures, managing testing and inspection processes, and ensuring

compliance with industry regulations such as FSSAI, AGMARK.

• Implement and maintain the Quality Management System in compliance with

industry standards like FSSAI, AGMARK, and ISO.

• Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to quality policies and procedures.

• Establish testing procedures for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished

products to ensure compliance with specifications.

• Develop standards for parameters such as free fatty acid (FFA) levels, peroxide

values, colour, and moisture content.

• Monitor quality throughout the refining, bleaching, deodorization, and packaging

stages to ensure consistency.

• Oversee lab testing, including physical, chemical, and sensory evaluations, to verify

product quality.
