Job Summary

The Testing and Service Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the performance, reliability, and safety of transformers by conducting tests, performing troubleshooting, and offering maintenance and repair services. This role involves working on-site at customer locations and in a laboratory or workshop environment.

Key Skills and Competencies:-

• Strong knowledge of power and distribution transformers, their components, and operations.
• Expertise in transformer testing equipment (e.g., Doble, Omicron).
• Problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting transformer issues.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work in outdoor environments.

Qualifications:-

• Education: Bachelors degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in transformer testing, servicing, or commissioning.
• Hands-on experience with transformer testing kits and maintenance tools.
• Certifications: Preferred certifications in transformer maintenance and testing (e.g., NETA, IEC standards).

Additional Requirements

• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to customer locations.
• Physically fit to work in challenging field conditions.
