JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Microsoft technology in Data Modelling & Visualization - Power BI, High analytical skills.
• Very good knowledge and experience of DAX and M languages.
• Technical Knowledge of optimal data visualization and DAX language optimization.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Very good English skills.
• Ability to run trainings for end users.
• Ability to run discovery and designing session with end users.
• Experience in Azure - including Synapse.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft data tools: MS SQL Server, Analysis Services (Tabular or Multidimensional)
• Power BI Governance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrated capability in creating App Workspaces and Content Packs within Microsoft Power BI Desktop to effectively disseminate insights across teams and stakeholders. This includes a deep understanding of how-to curate and share analytical findings, making complex data easily accessible and understandable to a wide audience.
• Advanced skills in crafting and developing detailed reports and interactive dashboards using Power BI Desktop, employing techniques such as filtering and Drill-down functionalities to enhance user engagement and data exploration capabilities.
• Proficiency in the creation of Power BI apps, enabling the bundling of dashboards and reports into a cohesive app that provides users with a comprehensive view of the data insights relevant to their needs.
• Solid experience in implementing security protocols for reports and dashboards by configuring role-based access. This ensures sensitive data is securely managed and only accessible to authorized users, maintaining data integrity and compliance.
• A track record of leveraging automation for data refreshes and alerts within Power BI through the use of data gateways, facilitating up-to-date insights and timely notifications for data-driven decision-making.
• Expertise in data modeling within Power BI, which includes structuring data in a way that optimizes performance and accessibility, thereby enhancing the analytical capabilities of the organization.
• In-depth experience in developing Power BI Matrix and Custom Measures utilizing the DAX programming language, enabling the creation of sophisticated analytical models that support complex business logic and reporting requirements.
• Experience in developing various Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) routines using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), incorporating data sources such as Excel spreadsheets and relational databases. This involves automating data integration processes to streamline data preparation for analysis.
• Mastery of SQL Server 2008/2012 database development, showcasing a strong foundation in database design, optimization, and management, essential for supporting advanced data analytics initiatives.
• Competence in developing both Matrix and Tabular reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), drawing from relational and OLAP database sources. This skill set is crucial for delivering flexible and high-performance reporting solutions that meet diverse business requirements.
• Proven ability to gather and analyze business requirements from users, translating these into actionable insights and recommendations within the reporting tool. This involves engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs and crafting solutions that provide meaningful and actionable insights.
• Skillful in loading and integrating data from a variety of sources, ensuring a comprehensive data ecosystem that supports in-depth analysis and reporting across multiple data domains.
• Design and implementation of data models using tools such as MS SQL Server, Analysis Services, and Power Bl. This includes creating efficient, scalable data models that support advanced analytics and reporting capabilities, driving insights and value from the organization's data assets.
