Job Description
Experience: 4+ years
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Oracle DBA to join our Mumbai office. The ideal candidate will ensure our databases are high-performing, secure, and available.
Responsibilities:
- Database Management: Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize SQL queries and database performance.
- Backup and Recovery: Implement and test backup and recovery solutions.
- Security: Manage database security and compliance.
- Support: Assist development teams and troubleshoot issues.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of database configurations and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
- 4+ years of Oracle DBA experience.
- Expertise in Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c.
- Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience with RMAN, Data Guard, ASM.
- Familiar with Oracle Enterprise Manager.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP).
- Experience with cloud databases (e.g., Oracle Cloud).
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux OS.
