Position Summary:

We are seeking a Vice President - Artificial Intelligence to lead the Artificial Intelligence team and drive the creation of cutting-edge AI solutions in healthcare. This is a leadership role involving collaboration with academic researchers, advisory boards, and key stakeholders, while representing the company to customers, investors, partners, and the AI community.

The VP will oversee projects leveraging synthetic data generation, neural rendering, and mixed training methods to advance healthcare AI. Working closely with healthcare leaders, this role will define and execute the AI roadmap for Securra Health.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with business leads to identify AI application areas.

- Partner with the CTO and Chief Digital Health Officer to design the AI strategy and roadmap.

- Develop and govern the AI project lifecycle, including model development, deployment, and retraining.

- Decide on technologies and processes for AI/ML model development, testing, and deployment.

- Drive the rollout and deployment of "self-service" AI platforms.

- Act as a liaison between business and technology to assess feasibility and execute AI strategies.

- Lead the Data Science and Research teams to deliver innovative AI solutions.

- Oversee project management activities such as workshops, stakeholder interviews, and documentation.

- Build and mentor a team of data scientists while monitoring ongoing hiring needs.

- Ensure effective risk management and quality control across AI initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML applications (e.g., cybersecurity, NLP, computer vision, chatbot development).

- Expertise: Proficient in AI/ML, Deep Learning, Advanced Data Science, Computer Vision, and Analytics.

- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of AI/ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks; proficiency in Python, R, and associated libraries.

- Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional teams across geographies and functions.

- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.

- Collaboration: Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

- Process Improvement: Familiarity with re-engineering and automation transformation techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Professional degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Biology, or related fields with a specialization in AI/ML.

- Expertise in Process Engineering, Workflow Automation, and End-to-End Journey Design.
