Vicco Laboratories was established in the year 1952 by Late Mr. Keshav V Pendharkar.
In 1959 Late Mr. Gajanan Keshav Pendharkar joined his father in their family business. He had successfully
formulated the first Ayurvedic paste in the world with 20 rare medicinal natural herbs. He is instrumental
in bringing out the first yellow-colored face cream known as Vicco Turmeric Skin Cream, an Ayurvedic
Product.
The science of Ayurveda, which is our naê€on’s heritage is being zealously promoted by Mr. G K Pendharkar.
When all Indian companies (big or small) were succumbing to foreign technology, Mr. Pendharkar was
relentlessly promoê€ng Ayurveda which is being revered abroad.
Aꢁer the demise of Mr. K V Pendharkar in 1971, Mr. G K Pendharkar took over the reins of the Company
into his able hands and there was no looking back.

Job Summary
The E-commerce Specialist is responsible for managing and opꢀmizing the company’s online sales
channels to drive revenue growth and enhance the customer experience. This role involves overseeing
product lisꢀngs, online markeꢀng campaigns, sales analysis, and customer engagement strategies to
ensure the success of e-commerce operaꢀons. The specialist works closely with markeꢀng, sales, and
operaꢀons teams to align e-commerce strategies with overall business goals.



Key Responsibiliꢀes
1. E-commerce Operaꢀons Management
•

Manage the daily operaꢀons of the company’s e-commerce plaꢂorms, including website and
marketplace channels (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify).
Oversee the creaꢀon, opꢀmizaꢀon, and maintenance of product lisꢀngs, ensuring accuracy and
adherence to brand guidelines.
Ensure seamless order processing, fulfillment, and ꢀmely delivery in collaboraꢀon with logisꢀcs
teams.
2. Online Markeꢀng and Campaign Management
•
Plan and execute digital markeꢀng campaigns to drive traffic and sales, including paid ads, SEO,
email markeꢀng, and social media promoꢀons.

Opꢀmize product visibility and rankings through keyword research and on-page SEO strategies.
Collaborate with the markeꢀng team to develop promoꢀons, offers, and seasonal campaigns.
3. Sales and Performance Analysis

Monitor e-commerce sales performance, conversion rates, and customer metrics to idenꢀfy
trends and opportuniꢀes.

Prepare regular reports on e-commerce KPIs (e.g., sales revenue, traffic, customer retenꢀon).
Use data-driven insights to recommend and implement improvements in user experience and
sales strategies.
4. Customer Engagement and Support

Enhance the online customer experience by ensuring intuiꢀve website navigaꢀon, fast loading
ꢀmes, and mobile responsiveness.
Address customer queries and issues in a ꢀmely manner, ensuring high levels of customer

5. Inventory and Pricing Management

Monitor inventory levels on e-commerce plaꢂorms and coordinate with the supply chain team to
avoid stockouts or overstocking.
