Role & responsibilities :

• POS System Management: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot the POS system hardware and software to ensure it operates efficiently.
• Transaction Processing: Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their purchases, resolving issues, and answering queries.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, update product information, and conduct periodic stock counts.
• Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to promote upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue.
• Training: Train new employees in POS system operation and ensure they adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Reporting: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Cash Handling: Safely and accurately handle cash, perform cash reconciliation, and deposit funds as required.
• Assist Store Manager: Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations and step in when needed during their absence.
• Loss Prevention: Implement security measures to prevent theft and ensure compliance with company loss prevention policies.
• Compliance: Stay up to date with industry regulations and compliance standards related to point-of-sale operations.
