Urgent Hiring | UI/UX Web Developer (Remote, US Timezone)

The Role

We're looking for a passionate and talented UI/UX Developer to join our growing team! You'll be responsible for the entire user experience journey, from crafting beautiful and intuitive user interfaces (using tools such as Figma) to ensuring they translate flawlessly into functional websites and mobile applications.

This is a remote position with work timings of 5:30 PM - 2:30 AM IST to overlap with the US timezone. Due to the urgency of this role, we are preferably considering candidates who can join us immediately or within the next 15-20 days.

You'll thrive in this role if you:

• Possess a strong blend of design and development skills. You can develop stunning and user centric interfaces in Figma and translate them into responsive web experiences using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Possess hands-on experience in WordPress development and a strong understanding of web technologies.
• Have experience in developing HTML/JavaScript based websites end-to-end.
• Are a Figma master! You can develop visually appealing user personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Possess a strong foundation in front-end development.
• Are a master of user experience (UX). You can utilize design thinking to understand user needs and translate them into innovative solutions that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
• If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we would like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Develop visually appealing and user-centric UI mockups and prototypes in Figma that clearly illustrate website and app functionalities.
• Translate wireframes, prototypes, and mockups into responsive experiences for both web and mobile apps using HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Provide technical support and assistance to clients regarding WordPress websites.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless translation of Figma designs into functional applications.
• Designing and building the websites front-end.
• Optimize website speed, performance, and overall user experience.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing web and/or mobile application projects.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma.
• Working knowledge of front-end development languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (including libraries like jQuery is a plus). This is mandatory as you should be able to translate your UI designs into HTML.
• Proven experience that demonstrates working knowledge in SEO principles.
• Excellent understanding of cross-browser compatibility.
• Exceptional visual design skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Salary not a bar for the right candidate.

Bonus points if you have:

• A passion for creating natural and intuitive conversational flows.
• Experience in Digital Marketing / Social Media Marketing, Google Adwords, etc.
• Experience in creating/managing sites using Wordpress. Customize existing WordPress themes and templates to meet specific client needs. Integrate third-party APIs and services into WordPress sites as required.
