Associate - Costing and Material Planning

Role & responsibilities

• Preparation and monitoring of product costing
• Updating and monitoring standard costing on monthly basis.
• Handling manual costing.
• Working with purchase and operations teams on product costing.
• Developing and maintaining detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company.
• Monitoring the levels of raw materials and packing material by working with purchase department to ensure optimal stock is maintained.
• Using software for inventory management to accurately track material flow.
• Coordinating with other departments to forecast future material needs based on production schedules and orders.
• Identifying and resolving discrepancies between inventory records and stock levels.

Preferred candidate profile

• A flair for numbers, good problem-solving, analytical and numerical abilities are crucial.
• Computer literate, good Excel skills, ability to work with look-ups and pivot tables and proficiency in Microsoft Office, other relevant software and application.
• Knowledge of ERP system is an added advantage.
• Ability to plan and deliver against deadlines
• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision and also as team player where frequent collaboration across functional teams is necessary.
