Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in the oil and gas sector
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design and optimization of process systems, ensuring they meet safety, environmental, and operational standards
This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions
Key Responsibilities Design and Development: Lead the design and development of process systems for oil and gas projects, including process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment specifications
Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, ensuring adherence to project milestones and quality standards
Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance to engineering teams, fostering innovation and best practices in process design and optimization
Safety and Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies
Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers, to integrate process systems with overall project designs
Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical support, and deliver presentations on process design concepts and project progress
Troubleshooting and Optimization: Analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
Documentation: Prepare and review engineering documentation, reports, and presentations, ensuring clarity and accuracy
Qualifications Education: Bachelor s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field; a master s degree is a plus
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in process engineering within the oil and gas industry
Technical Skills: Proficient in process simulation software (eg, Aspen HYSYS, MATLAB), as well as knowledge of industry standards and regulations (eg, API, ANSI, ASME)
Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of mentoring and developing engineering talent
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
