Azure Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Data Technical Lead to oversee data initiatives, lead teams, and provide strategic direction for data integration and analytics projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure, Databricks, PySpark, and other Azure-related technologies. This is a hybrid role requiring flexibility with working hours.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of data engineers and analysts in developing and implementing Azure-based data solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, ensuring robust data integration, transformation, and storage processes.
Utilize Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and PySpark to create efficient and scalable data workflows.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide data solutions that meet these needs.
Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and data management.
Stay up-to-date with new data tools and methodologies in the Azure ecosystem and guide the team in adopting these.

Required Skills and Experience:
9-13 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and PySpark.
Proficiency in SQL, Azure DevOps (ADO), GIT, PowerShell, and basic knowledge of Power BI.
Experience in leading teams and managing projects.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing best practices.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience in performance optimization and troubleshooting in cloud environments.
