Management Reporting Head / Process Lead

Purpose of the role

Primary purpose is to oversee and manage the information systems and reporting function for the respective stakeholders. You will be responsible for ensuring the availability of accurate and

timely data, optimizing reporting processes, and enabling data-driven decision-making to support the achievement of business objectives

Key Role & Responsibilities

- Develop and implement strategies to enhance information systems and reporting capabilities

- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of databases, data warehouses, and reporting systems to support business operations and analysis

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements for data and reporting needs

- Lead the development and implementation of data visualization tools and dashboards

- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all data sources

- Collaborate with the Commercial team for analysis of the MIS and handle request for any adhoc reports as needed

- Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to ensure efficient data flow and integration between systems

- Provide guidance on data governance and security to protect sensitive information and comply with data privacy regulations

- Support organization teams with ad-hoc data analysis and insights to optimize decision-making processes

- Lead the training and development of team members to enhance their technical skills and capabilities

- Collaborate with IT teams to identify and implement improvements in data management and reporting infrastructure

- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data management and reporting technologies

Job specifications

Experience-

- 12 to 15 Years of relevant experience

- Proven experience in managing information systems and reporting functions, preferably within finance and business in the FMCG Manufacturing industry

- track record of implementing data visualization tools and dashboards for performance reporting

- Experience with data governance and data security practices

Qualification-

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) would be advantageous

- Relevant certifications in data management, business intelligence, or data visualization tools are required

Competence:-

Behavioural - Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team of information systems and reporting professionals

- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey data and information to relevant stakeholders

- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity

Functional- Proficiency in data management and database technologies (e.g., SQL, data warehousing, etc)

- Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.)

- Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes

Technical- Thorough understanding of business data requirements and reporting needs

- Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, etc.)

- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) and tools used in finance functions
