Java Developer - Full Stack Technologies (6-12 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Design and build tools and frameworks to automate development, testing deployment, management and monitoring of our 24x7 services and products.

- Scale the infrastructure and tools required to keep our thousand plus developers in step when they are all sharing the same code, building and testing our software stacks, and releasing and deploying their services continuously without compromising site reliability.

- Partner with product teams to evangelize and develop applications, tools and frameworks to enhance customer experience

- Develop test harnesses/frameworks.

- Test RESTful web service APIs.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications :

- B.S./B. Tech in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding with 7+ years of hands-on industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

- 7 years of programming experience in Java, or any other dynamic language.

- 2 years of programming experience in Javascript, CSS and JS framework like Ember/React/Angular.

- Knowledge of Internet protocols and network programming.

- Experience working in a Unix environment (Linux preferred).

- Knowledge of large-scale distributed systems and client-server architectures.

- Experience in standard build tools and version control systems (svn, git, gradle, perforce).

- Experience in Python development using frameworks like Django, Flask, Jinja, SQLAlchemy.

- Knowledge and experience with Tomcat, Jetty, Netty, Apache/ATS, Sacla/sbt, or Node.js.

- Knowledge of database systems (MySql, PostgreSQL, Redis, Hbase, Voldemort, Espresso, Cassandra).
