Senior Automation Engineer :: Java Selenium

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with expertise in Java Selenium to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software automation testing, with a focus on Selenium & knowledge in Rest Assured.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests for our web applications, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

Primary Skills : QA Automation - Automation testing -Java, Selenium, Functional testing, Framework(BDD, Cucumber, TestNG etc.)

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver, covering functional, performance, and security requirements.

2. Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements, clarify test objectives, and provide feedback on application design and functionality.

3. Execute automated test scripts, analyze test results, and generate detailed test reports, identifying defects and tracking their resolution.

4. Maintain and update test scripts to accommodate changes in application requirements and ensure test scripts remain relevant and effective.

5. Develop and implement automation frameworks, incorporating best practices for modularity, reusability, and maintainability.

6. Contribute to continuous integration and deployment processes, ensuring that applications are tested and meet quality standards before release.

7. Analyze and evaluate application performance, identifying bottlenecks and suggesting improvements to enhance overall performance and scalability.

8. Conduct security testing to identify vulnerabilities in applications and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

9. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging testing tools, and advancements in Java and Selenium WebDriver.

10. Provide training and mentoring to team members on automation testing methodologies and best practices
