Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. The role requires strong expertise in Python, JavaScript, and modern backend technologies to design, develop, and optimize robust backend systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in implementing secure APIs, managing databases, and deploying solutions in a cloud-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable backend systems using Python and JavaScript.

• Build and integrate secure REST APIs for communication between applications.

• Implement and maintain authentication mechanisms using OAuth 2.0.

• Manage and optimize SQL databases and relational data models.

• Work with AWS Services to build cloud-native solutions.

• Utilize Kubernetes and Docker for containerization and deployment.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

• Participate in solution design and architectural discussions to ensure scalability and efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

• Leverage Git (GitLab) for version control and collaboration.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.

• Strong understanding of REST APIs and OAuth 2.0 authentication.

• Experience with SQL and relational databases.

• Familiarity with AWS services for cloud-based development.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

• Strong knowledge of code reviews and best coding practices.

• Ability to contribute to solution design discussions.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Snowflake (desired).

• Knowledge of SQLAlchemy (ORM) and Alembic migrations.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies and team leadership (for senior or lead roles).

• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Slack/Teams (nice-to-have).
