IBM MQ Administrator - WebSphere (4-6 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled IBM WebSphere MQ Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of MQ concepts and hands-on experience in installation, configuration, and administration of IBM WebSphere MQ.

Key Responsibilities :

- MQ Administration : Install, configure, and maintain IBM WebSphere MQ environments.

- Object Management : Create and configure MQ objects such as Queue Managers, Remote Queues, Local Queues, and Queue Aliases.

- Problem Solving : Troubleshoot MQ and IIB issues using MQ Error Files, FDC files, syslog, traces, and monitoring tools.

- Performance Tuning : Optimize MQ performance and resource utilization.

- Security : Implement and maintain security policies and controls for MQ environments.

- ITIL Processes : Adhere to ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management.

- Collaboration : Work closely with MQ L3 resources, solution architects, and engineers to strategize MQ solutions.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Strong knowledge of IBM WebSphere MQ concepts and architecture

- Hands-on experience in MQ installation, configuration, and administration

- Proficiency in MQ troubleshooting and performance tuning

- Understanding of MQ security and authentication mechanisms

- Knowledge of MQ AMS and MQIPT

- Experience with ITIL processes

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
