Job Description
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of an automation strategy for CRM and payments integration with a focus on continuous testing in an Agile environment.
- Set up and maintain scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks using Cucumber, Gherkin, and integrate with Java and Python test scripts.
- Write and maintain automation test cases using BDD methodologies with Cucumber and Gherkin to ensure high test coverage of CRM and payments functionalities.
- Lead the execution of automated tests, ensuring scripts run efficiently in CI/CD pipelines and identify defects early in the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and QA engineers, to align automation tests with project requirements and business goals.
- Mentor and guide junior automation testers, providing technical assistance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the QA team.
- Identify and report defects using tools like JIRA, ensuring efficient tracking and resolution.
- Implement and maintain integration of automated tests within CI/CD pipelines for seamless testing in Agile sprints.
- Identify bottlenecks in automation processes and optimize performance for faster and more reliable test execution.
- Required skills include 5+ years in automation testing, framework development, BDD expertise, proficiency in Java and Python, CI/CD tools experience, Agile knowledge, and familiarity with payment gateway integrations. Preferred skills include API testing, cloud platform familiarity, and basic SQL understanding.
