POSITION: Head Supply Chain Development
FUNCTION: Supply Chain Management
LOCATION: Kochi Corporate Office/Gurgaon
PRODUCT LINE: Consumer Electronics
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Management & Leadership:
- Aligns the supply chain with company objectives, leads and develops a high-performing team, and champions digital transformation initiatives to streamline operations.
Continuous Improvement:
- Drives ongoing improvements in efficiency and cost reduction across sourcing, logistics, warehousing, and other supply chain functions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Ensures seamless coordination with production, finance, and sales teams to optimize supply chain activities.
Supplier Relationship Management:
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating favorable contracts to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
Inventory Management:
- Implements robust practices to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts.
Industry Expertise & Innovation:
- Stays updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements, proactively incorporating them into company operations.
Risk Management:
- Identifies and mitigates potential supply chain risks, such as disruptions, bottlenecks, and quality issues, through effective risk management strategies.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensures adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory standards, including environmental, health, and safety requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
QUALIFICATION UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization
PG:MBA/PGDM - Any Specialization
- Proven experience in Strategic Sourcing & Procurement is mandatory
- Proven experience (minimum 20 years) in supply chain management, preferably in the electrical and electronics manufacturing sector, with at least 5 years in a corporate leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing supply chain best practices, lean methodologies, and process improvement initiatives.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent leadership abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strategic partnerships.
- Proficient in using supply chain management software and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to align supply chain strategies with overall business goals.
