Shiprocket - UX Designer - Sketch/Adobe XD (3-8 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking to hire UX designers to work with us on a unique junction of product, design, and business. As an experienced UX designer, you will be contributing towards understanding product and business requirements, with user needs as your prime focus, and helping in translating the same to create exceptional user experiences for our customers. You will be expected to design the overall functionality of a product or feature, and in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing.

Responsibilities :

- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and through user interviews.

- Organize and analyze research findings for a better understanding of user insight.

- Create user journeys and personas.

- Develop wireframes, prototypes and user flows around customer needs.

- Identify and find creative ways to solve UX problems in existing flows.

- Work on product adoption flows.

- Work with UI designers to implement intuitive visual interfaces

- Translate design ideas and prototypes to developers.

- Staying updated on competitor products and industry trends.

Requirements & Skills :

- Proven experience in using UX design best practices, both web and responsive.

- Having a user-centric mindset and being passionate about resolving their pain points through design.

- Creative and analytical approach.

- Should always be questioning the status quo.

- Attention to detail is extremely important.

- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team setting.

- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

- Knowledge of design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Zeplin, etc.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- A strong portfolio of UX projects is a must.
