Job Title: Robotics Engineer (KUKA Robot Maintenance)

Location: Ashok Leyland, Hosur

Salary: ₹6,00,000 CTC per annum

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Robotics Engineer with hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting KUKA robots. This position is based at Ashok Leyland, Hosur, under UPSPL contact and is focused entirely on robotic maintenance operations. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in KUKA robot systems, with the ability to handle complex maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth robot operations on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance and servicing of KUKA robotic systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues in KUKA robots.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and upgrade procedures to improve efficiency and prevent downtime.
• Support robotic programming and reconfiguration for production changes, including troubleshooting and error resolution.
• Work closely with production teams to minimize robot downtime and increase system reliability.
• Analyze and document maintenance issues and solutions for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards related to robotic operations.
• Keep track of parts inventory and order necessary components for robotic systems.
• Provide training to operators and staff on safe and efficient robot usage and maintenance procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in maintaining KUKA robotic systems, with hands-on expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance.
• In-depth knowledge of KUKA robot hardware, controllers, and software.
• Strong understanding of robot programming (KRL KUKA Robot Language) and interfacing with PLC systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be proactive in resolving issues.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and safety.

Preferred Skills:

• Additional certifications in KUKA robotics or related systems.
• Familiarity with industrial automation systems and integration.
