The Legal Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's legal aspects, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, managing legal risks, and providing sound legal advice to support the organization's strategic objectives. The role involves managing contracts, handling disputes, and liaising with external legal counsel when necessary.
Responsible for drafting legal documents. Drafting, Vetting, Reviewing, and Negotiating Business Contracts, Lease Deeds, License Agreement, Agreements to Lease, MOUs, CAM, attornment deeds, amendment deeds, Bank NOC, Tripartite Agreements, settlement deeds, Service Agreements, Franchisee Agreements, Termination notices etc
Responsibilities:
1. Drafting LOI/ MOU/property-related / marketing / Food Law / FSSAI / Legal Metrology and IT and other contracts.
2. Must be well versed, and updated with current company law, law of contract, Intellectual Property Rights Law, and Arbitration Law.
3. Strong legal research skill
4. Providing legal support to all department
5. Excellent drafting skills
6. Strong understanding of commercial clauses.
7. Comprehensive due diligence of all the upcoming Properties on various stages of the projects and discussion with clients on issues and its resolution
8. Drafting and negotiation of all kinds of Agreements, Notices, Letters, and other legal documents with clients (Internal and External).
9. Risk identification, analysis and mitigation.
10. Resolution of inter-department issues.
11. New Software Implementation
12. International assignments
13. BOI approval
14. NFC approval and follow ups
15. Stamping and Registration of all the Leases and similar documents
